Tears for Peace

River of tears
release the flood
rain pours, continuously
casting darkness
upon a sad night
when love cries
silence sings
and all you want to do
I scream at sorrow
yet I shall save each tear
within my hand
water a wilting flower
so that by morning
I may smile, knowing my sadness
brought peace instead of pain
