KU grad writes guide to graduating early

In 2005, Mike Wilson walked down Campanile Hill a graduate of Kansas University in just two years.

A year later, he had his MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

After rocketing through school, he has had time to – what else? – help others do the same.

Wilson, of Overland Park, has written “Thru in 2 – The Ultimate Guide to Finishing College on Time (or Even Early) and Saving Thousands in the Process.”

Wilson cites National Center for Education statistics that roughly two-thirds of college students won’t finish their degrees within four years. He says that with the tips available in the book, students can save both time and money by finishing in four years or less. By his own estimate, Wilson saved over $150,000 on his two degrees by finishing early.

As to be expected from Wilson, his book is faster than others – coming in at a speedy 130 pages.

The book’s release date is March 22 and it will be available at www.lulu.com for $19.95 in paperback and $9.95 as a download. Those interested came reserve it at Wilson’s Web site, www.thruin2.com.
