Technology association elects leadership

Members of the Lawrence Technology Association recently elected officers and members of the organization’s board of directors.

Executive officers for 2008:

¢ President: state Rep. Tom Sloan, R-Lawrence.

¢ Vice president: James Lock, of Honeywell.

¢ Secretary: Eric Eskilson, of Eskilson Engineering.

¢ Treasurer: Matthew McClorey, of the Lawrence Regional Technology Center.

Also elected for 2008 were directors Clint Batman, of ThinkGeo; Cheryl Seiwald, of Kantronics; and Keith Braman, of Kansas University’s Information and Telecommunication Technology Center, who was elected to a second term.

Still serving on the board are Sam Campbell, of CritiTech Inc.; Greg DiVilbiss, of The Bristol Groupe; Lanaea Heine, of the Biotechnology Innovation and Optimization Center; Robert Herrington, of Horizon Analog; Beth Johnson, of the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce; Donna Johnson, of Pinnacle Technology Inc.; Will Katz, of KU Small Business Development Center; and Carl Kurt, of EnGraph Software Systems.
