I-70 restriping work to begin Monday

The Kansas Department of Transportation soon will begin restriping work on the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 in Topeka.

The project will begin Monday at Carnahan Road to Adams Street/Branner Trafficway in east Topeka. Crews will complete edge line striping along the shoulders from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Motorists should expect minor delays of less than five minutes and if possible, use alternate routes, authorities said.
