Cat show opens at fairgrounds today

The Cat Fanciers’ Association Kansas City Midwest Cat Show kicks off at 9 a.m. today at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds.

The show will feature 106 cat breeds from across North America. Breeds include the Siberian, Sphynx and Norwegian forest cat.

The show runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in Building 21 at the fairgrounds. Admission for adults is $5. Admission for seniors 55 and older and children 12 and younger is $4.
