Sheryl Crow denies Fleetwood Mac rumors

Nashville, Tenn. – Sheryl Crow is putting the “Rumours” to rest: She’s not making a record with or joining Fleetwood Mac – not anytime soon at least.

“No, that was those ‘Rumours’ – to quote the album,” she joked Wednesday, referring to the group’s 1977 hit album.

“I’m a huge fan and have a great relationship with Stevie (Nicks), and actually with all of them. I just absolutely adore them,” Crow said during a question-and-answer session with college students in Nashville as part of a Grammy Foundation event. “Hopefully in the future we’ll have some kind of collaboration, but not at this time.”

Crow, 46, reportedly told the AOL music Web site Spinner.com last spring that she and the band “definitely have plans for collaborating in the future, and we’ll see what happens.”

Afterward, Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham told Billboard.com, “I think we were all surprised (Crow) was announcing to the world with such certainty. We have talked about bringing another woman into the scene to kind of give Stevie a sort of foil and shake it up a little bit. (Crow) was certainly a name that has come up. We’ll have to see.”

Nicks has been Fleetwood Mac’s sole female member since Christine McVie left in the late ’90s.

Amy Adams engaged to acting-class sweetie

New York – Now Amy Adams’ love life is “Enchanted,” too.

The Oscar-nominated Adams is engaged to fellow actor Darren Legallo, her publicist, Cari Ross, confirmed Thursday. Ross did not immediately provide further details.

The couple reportedly met in acting class in 2001 and plan to tie the knot next year.

Adams, 33, received an Oscar nomination for her supporting role in the 2005 family drama “Junebug.” She had a breakout role as a Disney-style princess in the 2007 romantic comedy “Enchanted,” and has appeared in such films as “Charlie Wilson’s War,” “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” and “Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day.”

Pamela Anderson has new reality show

Los Angeles – Pamela Anderson is shacking up with Tommy Lee again – but not like that.

The 41-year-old former “Baywatch” star is living with her ex-husband and their two sons – Dylan, 10; Brandon, 12 – in Lee’s Calabasas enclave while her new Malibu mansion is under construction. Anderson says the pair, whose honeymoon video was infamously unleashed on the Internet, aren’t an item again. But she isn’t ruling out the possibility.

“The dream would be that all of us could really be together, but we’re better friends,” Anderson said. “We’re great friends. We just live together. And we’re ex-husband and wife. It’s kinda silly. I don’t know where that’s gonna go.”

Anderson said her new series “Pam: Girl on the Loose,” premiering Aug. 3 on E!, was supposed to document her preparing for a glitzy peep show-style production helmed by Broadway director Jerry Mitchell at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. However, Anderson decided against trading Malibu for The Strip full-time.

Instead, “Girl on the Loose” provides a look at Anderson’s everyday life.

Lucy Liu joins cast of ‘Afro Samurai’

San Diego – Lucy Liu is set to embrace her inner warrior.

The 39-year-old actress will lend her voice to “Afro Samurai: Resurrection,” a two-hour sequel to the animated series starring Samuel L. Jackson, Spike TV announced Thursday.

Liu will play Sio, a seductive and sadistic mastermind out to destroy Jackson’s samurai.

“When we first created the character of Sio, we knew that Lucy Liu would be perfect for the role,” said executive producer Leo Chu. “We thought we owed it to ourselves to at least ask her, never dreaming that she would say yes.”

Mark Hamill is also slated to star in “Afro Samurai: Resurrection,” playing a servant and protector to Liu’s character. The movie is set to premiere on Spike TV in January.

Rapper DMX pleads not guilty to charges

Phoenix – DMX rapped for reporters outside a Phoenix courtroom Thursday after pleading not guilty to felony charges of theft and identity theft.

Then he plugged an album.

Authorities allege the 37-year-old rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons, gave the name “Troy Jones” and an incorrect Social Security number to a Scottsdale hospital in April to avoid paying $7,500 in medical expenses.

When reporters asked for comment following the hearing in Maricopa County Superior Court, Simmons rapped: “If and when you ever fall down, get back up. … Stand for something or fall for everything. Wait for the right pitch, you’ll miss every swing.”

His lawyer, Charles Kozelka, then pulled him away as Simmons urged reporters to look for his next album.

The theft and identity theft charges come after months of trouble for Simmons.

He was arrested at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport earlier this month on outstanding warrants after he failed to appear in court.

The week before, he was arrested in Miami on charges of attempting to purchase cocaine and marijuana.

Simmons also faces multiple charges of drug possession and cruelty to animals in Phoenix. He is due in court Aug. 12 relating to those charges.
