‘Tom Sawyer’ opens at Lawrence Arts Center

“There’s a little Tom Sawyer in all of us,” says Sally Spurgeon. Spurgeon is one of many child actors starring in a stage adaptation of the classic Mark Twain novel “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,” which opens at 7 p.m. today at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H., and continues with shows at 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
