‘Money’ talks in student production

You can be poor as a dormouse and still be happy in love.
That’s the synopsis Matthew Drahozal, sophomore at Lawrence High School, uses to describe the song “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.” (Yes, it was a song in “High Society” before it was a TV game show.)
The song is one of the offerings in “Money Changes Everything,” a variety show that runs at 7:30 tonight and Saturday, both at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H.
The production, which features eight high school students, includes theater and music that centers on themes of money, the economy and materialism.
In this week’s Pulse Podcast, Drahozal and Heidi Furst, as well as director Christie Dobson, talk about the show and its message.
