Black History Month celebrated at Watkins

Families are invited to celebrate Black History Month at Watkins Community Museum of History at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Lauren Kernes, will be reading “D is for Drinking Gourd: An African American Alphabet,” “Hold the Flag High” and “The Bus Ride that Changed History” at the museum, 1047 Mass. She also will teach the children how to make Unity Hand Wreaths. The program is free and open to the public; donations will be accepted.
