Law enforcement report

• The Kansas University Public Safety office released information about two thefts that occurred on campus last week.

At 9:45 a.m. Thursday, a suspect took a victim’s $1,200 laptop from Budig Hall. On Thursday evening, a suspect took a victim’s camera valued at $3,000 from Allen Fieldhouse.

Injury accident

A 58-year-old Ottawa man was flown to a Kansas City-area hospital by a helicopter ambulance Monday morning after a rollover wreck east of Baldwin City on Kansas Highway 33.

Ronnie D. Prince was flown to Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., with disabling injuries.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, Prince was driving a flatbed pickup truck north at 10:48 a.m. on K-33 about a half-mile south of U.S. Highway 56, and the vehicle left the road.

He overcorrected the steering wheel, and the vehicle entered the west ditch and rolled. It came to rest on its top. Prince was not wearing a seat belt, according to the accident report.

A nursing supervisor said Monday night a condition update was unavailable.
