A Lawrence teenage girl has been released from the hospital and two other girls remain in critical condition after a wreck last weekend in the 2500 block of Ousdahl Road.

Cora Garland, 16, has been released from Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., spokesman Bob Hallinan said Thursday. Jasmine Garland, 17, and Lauren Myers, 16, were still listed in critical condition, he said.

They were all passengers in the vehicle that struck a tree early Saturday morning. The driver, Casey Alan Anzek, 19, died.

Lawrence police identified the other passenger as Anthony Munger, 20, who was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
