The Kansas University athletics department announced Thursday that the Spring football game, originally scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Stadium, will now be played Monday at 7 p.m.
Gates will open at 6 p.m, and admission for the public is still free.
The game was moved due to anticipation of inclement weather in the Lawrence area Saturday afternoon.

I really like this decision. The forecast for Saturday looked horrible and I think it really would have prevented people from coming out. Of course, some people that live in KC may not drive out on a Monday night, but I am not sure many more of them would have made the drive on a Saturday in terrible weather either...
