Kansas City, Mo. ? Police have identified three bodies found over the weekend in a Kansas City industrial area.

Police on Monday said the bodies were identified as 34-year-old Mark A. Smith, 43-year-old Jonnie M. Williams and 48-year-old Steven F. Turner.

Police said Williams and Turner were reported missing on March 14, a month after Turner’s home was destroyed in an arson fire.

Smith had not been reported as missing to police.

Police say the bodies could have been lying where they were dumped in the eastern part of the city for as long as a month.

The deaths are being investigated as homicides, although it is unclear how the victims died.
