Trial set for 3 suspects in aggravated robbery
Three men charged in a residential robbery last month were bound for trial after a preliminary hearing Thursday in Douglas County District Court.
Jacob I. Rowls, 33, Raheem K. Armstead, 24, both of Leavenworth, and Marquis B. Holmes, 31, of Lansing, will go before a jury Feb. 19. Judge Paula Martin ruled that there was enough evidence to try the men on charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and obstruction of justice.
The three were arrested after the Aug. 1 robbery at a residence in the 1100 block of Ohio Street. At least three people were present at the time, and one man was battered but refused medical treatment.
