Lawrence poet Chantel Guidry will be reading some of her new poems, written during her time at the Harveyville Project in Harveyville, at an event starting at 7 p.m. Thursday at 4-1-1 Artspace, 411 E. Ninth St. There also will be a slideshow and a presentation about the Harveyville Project.

The show may not be appropriate for all ages, as some poetry contains profanity and sexual situations. Admission is free.
