Channel 6 on Sunday will air replays of Kansas University’s Saturday night nonconference football game against Southeastern Louisiana, Sunflower Broadband general manager Patrick Knorr announced Friday.

“We are in continuing discussion with Fox Sports about our ability to continue to provide this local coverage,” Knorr said. “We are very appreciative that Fox is allowing us to carry this Saturday’s game while negotiations continue. The decision for future games has yet to be made.”

The replay of Saturday’s game will air Sunday at 11 a.m. and again at 5 p.m.

Fox Sports owns all television rights to Big 12 football games and elected to withdraw their rights to Channel 6 to replay KU’s 52-7, season-opening victory against Central Michigan.
