Lawrence’s newest art fair series, the Lawrence ArtMarket, ends its 2007 season with a Sept. 22 bazaar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lawrence Visitor Information Center, 402 N. Second St.

The ArtMarket is open to all artists and artisans who create original artwork ranging from the weird to the wonderful. Eligible media include ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, metalworks, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture and wood.

The official Sept. 1 registration deadline has been extended, and registrations will be accepted until the day of the ArtMarket on a first-come, first-served basis (subject to the sole criterion of originality). However, to guarantee exhibitor space, artists should register as soon as possible. Fees range between $45-65, depending upon location.
