Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 34-year-old Lawrence man reported to Lawrence police the theft of a cashier’s check used to obtain $2,750 from his bank account. The theft occurred Sept. 14.

¢ A 55-year-old Lawrence man reported the theft of several items valued at $1,394. Items include a Hitachi air compressor, cordless drill and nailers. The theft occurred about noon Monday in the 5700 block of Silverstone Drive.

¢ A 20-year-old Lawrence man reported a theft of several items including a subwoofer, amplifier and speakers to Lawrence police on Friday. The incident occurred between 6 p.m. Oct. 1 and 2 p.m. Oct. 4 in the 2500 block of Morningside Drive. The total estimated loss is $1,068.
