Injury accidents

¢ The Kansas Turnpike Authority responded to a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. A vehicle driven by Gan Leung Lam, 62, of Junction City, was hit by a car exiting the Lawrence service area at milepost 208.8. Lam, and his passenger, Che M. Lee, 52, were transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the other car, Frances Pauline Duran, Morrison, Colo., was uninjured.

Condition update

¢ The Kansas University student injured in an early morning crash Sunday is listed in fair condition. Kalen Siebert, 19, was driving a blue Ford pickup truck southbound on Iowa Street. When he turned westbound onto 23rd Street, his vehicle crossed the median and struck a concrete wall on the south side of the street. Siebert was extricated from the vehicle and airlifted to St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
