Pianist to perform Monday at KU

Kansas University’s music and dance department welcomes pianist Ksenia Nosikova for a performance at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Nosikova graduated from Moscow Conservatory with undergraduate and graduate degrees. She earned her doctoral degree from the University of Iowa, where she currently teaches an international piano studio of graduate and undergraduate students.

Nosikova has performed extensively as a soloist and as a chamber musician in Europe, Russia, the U.S. and South America. She has appeared at numerous concert venues in the states, including Merkin Hall, Jordan Hall, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, the Dame Myra Hess concert series in Chicago, the Los Angeles Museum of Art concert series and more.

The free concert will take place at Swarthout Recital Hall in KU’s Murphy Hall.
