6-year-old girl killed in drive-by shooting

? Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a north Omaha shooting that killed a 6-year-old girl, Omaha police said.

Alazia Alford died at the Nebraska Medical Center after the incident Friday evening near 14th and Spencer streets. Two other people – Maya Mack, 19, and Breanna Russ, 17 – were also shot but their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, according to police.

All three were from Omaha.

Police said 14-year-old Jordan M. Goodwin, of Omaha, was arrested Friday night and placed in the Douglas County Youth Center on suspicion of criminal homicide and a weapons charge.

A warrant was issued for a second suspect, Michael Coleman, 19, of Omaha. Coleman turned himself in Saturday morning and was booked on suspicion of first-degree murder and a weapons charge, according to police.
