The Lawrence Motet Singers will perform today in Kansas City, Kan.

The group will sing three numbers before the 4 p.m. Mass at St. John the Baptist, including “Early Will I Seek Thee,” by Thomas Weelkes, “Cantate Domino,” by Giovanni Anerio, and “Creation,” by William Billings. During the Mass, the group will sing “From the End of the Earth,” by Alan Hovhaness, “Jesus Took the Cup” (an arrangement of a Scottish folk tune by Hal Hopson) and “O sacrum convivium,” by Ludovico Viadana.

The church, often called the Croatian Church on Strawberry Hill, is located at 708 N. Fourth St.
