To the editor:

Now that the Kansas Legislature has requested an audit of the Kansas University School of Medicine and the KU Hospital to open their books, the same should be asked of St. Luke’s Hospital and the Stowers Institute. Of course, they (St. Luke’s and Stowers) being in the state of Missouri, opening their books would be voluntary. Any hesitancy on their part should be another flag raised as to the benefit of this association for Kansans.
