Apple Users’ Group to meet Wednesday

The Lawrence Apple Users’ Group 2.0 will meet next week to discuss software that allows for remote use of computers.

The group’s meeting, “Reach Out and Touch Your Mac,” is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday in the community room at Signs of Life Bookstore, 722 Mass.

Mike Silverman of Motorola will demonstrate Timbuktu Pro, software that was developed in Lawrence and allows for the secure remote control of computers through the Internet.

Meetings are free, and organizers encourage people to ask questions, even if they involve issues unrelated to the announced topic. For more information, click on www.laugks.org.
