Law enforcement report
¢ Lawrence police began investigating damage done to a 5-foot-by-6-foot window at White Chocolate, 1005 Mass. The damage, reported at 12:51 a.m. on March 3, was estimated at $400.
¢ Damage to the door of Bungalow Laundry on the 1900 block of Barker Avenue was reported to have happened between 9:34 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The damage was estimated at $400.
¢ Employees at Sunflower School called police Wednesday after a second-grade boy left the school grounds without permission. Staff members followed the student and brought him back to school. The school notified the child’s parents.
Burglaries and thefts reported
¢ An employee at Westlake Ace Hardware, 711 W. 23rd St., called Lawrence police to report that a man took property from the store. Police arrested a 31-year-old Lawrence man on suspicion of taking $69.46 worth of property.
