Graphic designers and book admirers can view award-winning books and jackets from some of the nation’s scholarly presses in an exhibit opening Monday at Kansas University.

A traveling exhibit featuring winners of the 2006 Association of American University Presses Book, Jacket and Journal Show will be on display at the University Press of Kansas, 2502 Westbrooke Circle, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through March 16. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

The 2006 exhibit features 50 books and 34 jackets and covers.
