Lawrence artists Linda McKay and Mary Jane Grinter are among the exhibitors in the Kansas Watercolor Society’s 2007 Winter Invitational at SouthWind Gallery, 3074 S.W. 29th St., in Topeka.

The show features work by 45 Signature Members of the society from a four-state area, including Ernst Ulmer of Bonner Springs.

It opens with a free public reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the gallery. Pictured above is McKay’s painting titled “Georgia’s Ghost Ranch Porch.”
