Thom Allen has joined GLPM Architects Inc., Lawrence, as an associate architect.

Allen’s current projects at GLPM include helping with design of an expansion at Hilltop Child Care Center at Kansas University.

Allen, a 2005 graduate of Kansas State University, worked with a KSU Design/Build project focused on renovating the Pierce Atrium and first-year studio spaces.

He also served as agricultural program supervisor at a mission in Central America through the Fellow Man International program. He worked on the design and construction of a phased agricultural site plan in northern Honduras, a project designed to fight disease and malnutrition.
