Hutchinson ? The Kansas State Fairgrounds have a new look.

Fair board members toured the area Wednesday, surveying the completed $29 million reconstruction project.

The Kansas Legislature approved the plan for constructing and renovating several buildings six years ago.

The last project, a sheep and swine barn, cost $2.7 million and was completed last month.

Other projects included putting an 1800s saloon facade on the beer garden and renovating a building into a wine garden.
