To the editor:

Possibly your readers could participate in a straw poll regarding the new format of the weekday editions of the paper. Comments among our friends and acquaintances are overwhelmingly negative. There seems to be no way to separate the main section so it can be shared. The first reader gets the spoils; the second reader has sports or the Pulse. Not much choice for my wife who slumbers a bit longer than I.

Why not give it a shot? Remember the new Coke of some years ago? Public response prompted an enlightened and rapid action: They switched back!
