Law enforcement report

Lawrence police are investigating a report of six houses where mailboxes were knocked over. Damage to three of the mailboxes totaled $235.

Two other victims decline to make a report, while the sixth house was unoccupied, according to police reports.

The houses are in the 1200 to 1400 blocks of Lawrence Avenue.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Lawrence police are investigating burglaries and criminal damage to nearly finished homes in the 400 block of Olivia Avenue. A flat-screen TV and a DVD player, valued at $900, were taken from the homes, while three door frames had $1,500 in damages.

¢ A 19-year-old Lawrence woman reported a theft on Jan. 27 of jewelry valued at $3,200 from the 6000 block of Clinton Parkway. Police are seeking a 27-year-old Lawrence man in connection with the incident.

Emergency calls

Firefighters responded to a report of a kitchen fire in the 1600 block of Haskell Avenue. By the time firefighters arrived on scene, the fire was extinguished. There were no reports of injuries.
