Law enforcement report
¢ Lawrence police are investigating a reported sexual battery involving a 50-year-old man and a 21-year old man in west Lawrence.
¢ Lawrence police are investigating a reported sexual battery involving a 75-year-old man and a 38-year old woman in East Lawrence.
¢ Lawrence police arrested a 45-year-old Lawrence man after a police chase Tuesday that started at Sixth and Missouri streets. Police ended their pursuit when it reached high rates of speed, but police traced the individual through his license plate and arrested him.
The man was booked into Douglas County Jail on Tuesday night on charges of fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer, reckless driving, driving while suspended, failure to report an accident, and leaving the scene of an accident.

The chase policy has been changed. The policy now appears to be the same as many of the common sense citizens called for here on the forum.
The word is out on the change of policy via the crime reports in the JW; not thru an official acknowledgement of Olin. hoohmmm
