Piano concert planned at Lied Center
The Kansas City Music Teachers Association will present its 13th Multi Piano Concert at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Lied Center.
The 490 participants will perform in two-piano and duet teams on 18 grand pianos. Jeffrey Bishop, of the Youth Symphony of Kansas City, returns for his second year as conductor.
The theme for this year’s program is “Keys to the Classics,” which will include favorites such as Beethoven’s “Fifth Symphony,” Mozart’s “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” and Copland’s “Hoedown.”
