Youth ballet to perform ‘Peter Pan’

The Lawrence Youth Ballet Company, directed and choreographed by Deborah Bettinger, will present “Peter Pan” at 7 p.m. March 10 and 2 p.m. March 11.

Twenty-seven dancers, ages 8-17, will present this magical story of a land where children “never grow up.”

Mulligan Greenwell will perform the role of Peter. Other key roles include:

Johanna Mehl as Wendy; Juliana Hacker as Jon; Lexi Kriegh as Michael; Claire Sanner as Nana; Ida Greewell as Tinker Bell; Juliet Remmers as Tiger Lily; Grace Clark as Tootles; Julia Davidson as Captain Hook; Becky Haworth as Smead and Caitlin Roach as Crocodile.

Additional dancers include Adriana Gramly, Helen Hawkins, Jessica Devlin, Devany West, Shelby Steichen, Nora Byers, Indigo Bahn, Martha Keslar, Sophie Laufer, Kendra Moore, Emma Davison, Lucy Shopen, Maggy Keslar, Taylor Hobbs, Annelisa Bourgezq and Trenna Soderling.

Tickets are on sale at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H., where the performances will take place. Admission is $5.50 for adults and $3.50 for youths and seniors.
