The 940 dance company will perform “A Concert for Youth of All Ages” at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H.

The group also will perform at 1 p.m. Friday for invited school groups.

On the artists’ roster for Kansas City Young Audiences Inc., the 940 dance company tours schools throughout the Kansas City area. This performance will feature “The Wondrous Misadventures of Bobby & Scout,” composed by Brain Barnhart for the company’s elementary presentations. Other dance works include Kathleen O’Connor’s “Meat Shakes,” a tap dance duet with O’Connor and Whitney Boomer; a new solo by Tuesday Faust and more.

Tickets are $6.50 for students and seniors, and $8.50 for adults.
