Christopher Storm, an engineer and partner at Landplan Engineering in Lawrence, has been promoted to engineering manager at the company’s headquarters, 1310 Wakarusa Dr.

Storm is responsible for coordinating and managing project staffing, staff development and general oversight of the firm’s roadway, storm drainage, sanitary sewer and waterline projects. Since joining the firm in 2000, he had been responsible for project management for company work in Lawrence.

A registered professional engineer, Storm earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Kansas University.

Landplan has offices in Lawrence, Junction City and Kansas City, Mo.
