Model’s allegations ‘adamantly’ denied

New York – Tony Parker has never met the French model who claims they had an affair, his lawyer says.

“Tony adamantly and unconditionally denies ever having laid eyes on this woman, let alone having had an affair with her,” Los Angeles-based attorney Stanton “Larry” Stein said in a statement Tuesday. “The allegations of the supposed affair are entirely false and fabricated.”

Last week, Alexandra Paressant alleged in an interview with celebrity gossip Web site X17 that she had an affair with the San Antonio Spurs star in September. She claimed she attended his July 7 wedding to Eva Longoria in Paris.

“There were a lot of people at the wedding,” Stein told The Associated Press on Wednesday. “Did they remember seeing her at the wedding? No. We’re trying to find out about that.”

Stein said Parker, 25, and Longoria, 32, are “shocked and angered” by the allegations and are seeking damages for defamation and invasion of privacy.

Kelly misses hearing after tour bus delay

Chicago – R. Kelly could be facing arrest if he doesn’t show up in court today.

The 40-year-old singer, who is in the middle of a 45-city tour, faces child pornography charges for allegedly videotaping sex acts with a young teenage girl. He has pleaded not guilty.

Kelly missed a hearing Wednesday in Chicago after his tour bus was stopped by Utah State Police, said Kelly’s attorney, Ed Genson.

Cook County prosecutors asked Judge Vincent Gaughan to issue a warrant for Kelly’s arrest. The judge entered the warrant, but put it on hold until this morning, when he ordered Kelly to appear in court.

Genson told the judge his client tried to make it on time, but first snow, then Utah authorities, delayed the tour bus on its journey from a concert date in Sacramento, Calif., to Chicago.

Police pulled the bus over and discovered its log book didn’t document enough rest time for the driver. Police ordered the bus to stop for eight hours, Genson said.
