Perry woman injured in early-morning accident
Victim flown by helicopter to hospital
A Perry woman was injured this morning on Interstate 70 near Lawrence and flown to a Kansas City area hospital, according to a Kansas Turnpike Authority report.
About 2 a.m., Dawn R. Miller, 27, lost control of her 1990 Honda, which struck a wall in the westbound lanes between the East and West Lawrence exits. She was wearing a seat belt.
According to the report, her injuries did not incapacitate her, but she was flown via helicopter ambulance to Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., where a spokesman said a condition update was unavailable this morning.
