Woman wounded during mall shooting improves

? An Omaha woman wounded twice during a shooting rampage at an Omaha shopping mall continues to improve at a local hospital.

A Creighton University Medical Center spokeswoman said Sunday that 65-year-old Micky Oldham was upgraded to serious condition.

Oldham had surgery Wednesday to repair injuries from gunshot wounds to the abdomen and back.

She was among 11 people shot in the Von Maur department store at Westroads Mall before gunman Robert Hawkins took his own life. Eight of them died.

Also injured was 61-year-old Fred Wilson of Omaha.

A spokeswoman said Wilson was in serious condition Sunday at the Nebraska Medical Center following surgery to repair a severed artery in his left arm.
