Dan Coburn is always amazed when entries flow in for the annual all-member show of the Lawrence Photo Alliance.
“That’s the great thing about photography,” says Coburn, the alliance’s president. “Everybody can offer their own perspective on the world.”
That’s again the case for this year’s show, which opens Wednesday at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H. It runs through Dec. 20.
An opening reception is scheduled for 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Saturday.
The 100 photographs, from about 30 photographers, represent a wide variety of subjects, from sunflowers to business signs, from milkweed to old tires.
The Lawrence Photo Alliance — found online at www.lawrencephotoalliance.org — has about 100 members. The group usually meets from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at the Arts Center.
