Fourth arrest made in kidnapping case

Lawrence Police arrested a fourth person they believe is connected to a kidnapping that occurred last month at a south Lawrence apartment complex.

Berlon Marquette Muse, 27, was arrested at 2 p.m. Thursday during a traffic stop in the 2500 block of West Sixth Street, according to a Lawrence police report. Muse was arrested on charges of aggravated kidnapping stemming from an incident Nov. 10 in the 2500 block of Redbud Lane. The victim has reported to police she was beaten and held inside an apartment for more than 15 hours.

Muse was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Tonya Williams, 30. Williams was detained on unrelated warrants.
