Topeka theater plans youth production

The Topeka Civic Theatre & Academy will stage “Dear Edwina, Jr.” starting Friday and running through Aug. 19.

Showtimes are 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. The play, written by Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, will be performed in the organization’s newly renovated Oldfather Theatre, 3028 SW Eighth Ave., Topeka.
