Hospital to teach first-aid program
Lawrence Memorial Hospital is ready to help prepare for a disaster.
LMH is sponsoring a disaster first-aid program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The event, in Room A on the lower level of the hospital, 200 Maine, will teach participants wound care and splinting.
Hospital officials hope to teach people the basics of what to do if no medical help is available. Participation is free, but registration is required. Registration can be done online at www.lmh.org, by clicking on “classes and programs,” or by calling 749-5800.
