Officials investigating the deadly house fire at 1205 N.J. still haven’t released the cause of the blaze.

Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical Chief Mark Bradford said Monday that the agencies were still looking into the Sept. 17 fire’s cause.

Fire investigators, Lawrence Police detectives and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have been investigating.

Charles Glover Sr. and four of his grandchildren died in the fire. One survivor, Glover’s wife, Learlean, escaped and has been released from the hospital.

Bradford said he didn’t have a timeline for when any information about the fire would be released.
