Law enforcement report
¢ Lawrence Police are investigating a 34-year-old Lawrence woman’s report that an acquaintance raped her at her home in southwest Lawrence between 9:20 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. Oct. 11. It was reported to police Oct. 19.
¢ Lawrence Police are investigating a report that a 35-year-old Lawrence man may have used a computer to “view unlawful images of juvenile females” on Oct. 20.
Injury accidents
¢ A Leavenworth man was transported by air ambulance to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., Friday after his vehicle flipped over along Mount Olivet Road.
Around 7:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene after Wayne Green, 54, crashed his car after losing control along a downhill curve.
He was flown to the hospital because of suspected internal injuries. Alcohol is considered a contributing factor, according to a Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office report.
¢ Two Overland Park residents suffered possible injuries after their car hit a guardrail head-on along Interstate 35 Monday in Franklin County.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, Jared Cronin, 17, and Erica Wheeler, 15, were taken to Olathe Medical Center after the car Cronin was driving lost control and struck a guard rail just south of Wellsville.
Their injuries were not listed.
