Lawrence Police cited a 21-year-old man for window-peeping early Wednesday morning after a 41-year-old woman reported she saw him looking in her bedroom window in south Lawrence.

The incident happened at 3:46 a.m. in the 600 block of West 25th Street. The woman told police she heard a noise, went to close a window and noticed the man peering through the bedroom window, Lawrence Police spokeswoman Kim Murphree said. The suspect walked away, but officers found him in the area, she said. He was issued a notice to appear in municipal court.
