Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 37-year-old Perry man reported to Lawrence Police on Wednesday that someone had taken irreplaceable motorcycle parts, valued at $20,900, between noon Sept. 28 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday from a storage area in the 500 block of Elm Street. Police believe the property owner, who is a 62-year-old Lawrence man, knows the suspect.

Injury accidents

¢ A Lawrence woman was released from the hospital after a wreck Thursday morning on Kansas Highway 10 in Lenexa.

Michelle Seastrom, 32, was the only person injured in a three-vehicle wreck at 7:35 a.m., according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report. Seastrom and Patrick Martin, 32, Olathe, both had slowed their vehicles on eastbound K-10.

Jerri Howe, 36, Eudora, was unable to react in time and her vehicle then struck Seastrom’s vehicle from behind and caused Seastrom’s vehicle to strike Martin’s vehicle, according to the report. A spokeswoman at Overland Park Regional Medical Center said Seastrom had been treated and released.
