Park improvements expected to pass

Bottom line

City commissioners are expected to approve $234,190 worth of improvements to Clinton Park at Fifth and Alabama streets.


The park improvements will include replacing the shelter house, rest rooms, utilities and sidewalks in the park. B.A. Green Construction of Lawrence is the low bidder on the project.

a.) Approve low bid from Shawnee Mission Tree Service, doing business as Arbor Masters Tree & Landscape, in the amount of $85,120.

b.) Award Comprehensive Housing Rehabilitation bid for 1624 E. 18th Terrace to T & J Holdings, for $8,464.

c.) Award contract to B. A. Green in the amount of $62,969 for the replacement of two sets of stairs in the Riverfront Parking Garage.

d.) Approve bid from B.A. Green for Clinton Park improvements using recycled products for deck construction in the amount of $234,190.

¢ Adopt on second and final reading Ordinance No. 8021, amending portions of the Public Offense Code.

¢ Approve amendment and extension of TUPR-05-18-06 to allow the temporary installation of a 1,000 gallon above ground storage tank at 838 La.

¢ Approve recommended variance from Section 19-214 allowing sanitary sewer service crossings of dedicated drainage easement at Fall Creek Farms No. 12 plat.

¢ Authorize the Mayor to sign a Subordination Agreement for Rosemary Seiger, 340 Pleasant St.

¢ Approve Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $81,859.50 for Project No. 15-CP4-404(C), Kasold Drive, Bob Billings Parkway to West 22nd Street, Street, Storm Sewer Improvements.
