Renowned mystery author to give signing

Anne Perry, internationally renowned author of three different mystery series, will talk about her books at 7 p.m. today at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1011 Vt.

Perry’s books feature William Monk and Thomas and Charlotte Pitt. Another of her series focuses on World War I.

She has sold more than 20 million copies of her books worldwide. She won an Edgar Award in 2000 for her short story “Heroes,” and she was selected by Time magazine as one of the 20th century’s “100 Masters of Crime.”

Perry will sign books following her talk. The Raven Bookstore, sponsor of the event, will provide copies of her books for sale.
