Police spokeswoman Sgt. Susan Hadl said a car was headed south on Maine Street about 9 p.m. when the driver failed to stop at a stop sign. In the intersection with 11th Street, the car collided with an eastbound sport utility vehicle.

The SUV tipped onto its top in the southeast corner of the intersection, while the car spun into a grassy area, Hadl said.
